1VERSE (pronounced uni-verse) is five member KPOP group under Singing Beetle debuting on July 18, 2025.The members are Hyuk, Seok, Nathan, Kenny and Aito. Hyuk, Seok, Kenny, and Aito were previously known as SB Boyz pre-debut.Multiverse was pre-released with The First Verse album released on July 18, 2025♡"A verse of our lives, a verse in our song.

why is the group named 1VERSE?

The groups name was accompanied by this quote:"A verse of our lives, a verse in our song.
Alone we are verses, together we are a song."

when were the members introduced / added to the group?

Hyuk was the first trainee of SB and put out solo work before the rest of the group was official.Hyuk and Seok were announced in October 2023Kenny was announced in August 2023Aito was announced January 2024Nathan was announced on Christmas Day in 2024

what is SB BOYZ?

This is the name that the members were introduced as before being officially introduced as 1VERSE

where is Hyuk in some videos?

Hyuk in September 2025 decided to take a hiatus due to personal and health reasons

how were the members added to Singing Beetle?

Hyuk was the first artist added to singing beetle after working in a factory. He was introduced to Michelle when she convinced him to join SB. He has said he didn't trust her for a year due to many people trying to take advantage of defectors. He didn't have the dream of being an idol until after he joined SB.Seok joined about a year and a half after Hyuk when Michelle heard him singing. He was mainly an athlete and participating in soccer - he didn't know much about professional singing, but loved music. He was able to listen to smuggled kpop music in N.Korea.Kenny auditioned for a USA group but was asked if he would join the company in Korea and 1VERSEAito and Kenny were SM trainees together. Aito went back to Japan and was teaching dance classes. Kenny encouraged him to try being an idol again and join Singing Beetle.Nathan was posting music on Youtube and Tiktok with his own following when Kenny found his account and had Michelle reach out to have him audition.

what language do the members speak?

the members speak a combination of English and Korean using lots of konglish. Aito will also speak in Japanese from time to time. They often have a staff translating and the members do well communicating together.
They all take language lessons working on both Korean and English

where are the members from?

Hyuk and Seok are from North Korea
Kenny and Nathan are from the USA
Aito is from Japan

does hyuk have a tattoo?

yes! you will see it often - on his forearm hyuk has the words "friendship is forever" in script

do the members live together?

yes!

Michelle is the CEO and Producer of Singing Beetle
She is very close with the members and involved in their lives - onstage and off

what is Singing Beetle?

According to the SB website:Singing Beetle was founded by Michelle in 2019 as a publisher that respects songwriters' livelihoods.In 2021, Michelle and Joe expanded the mission to include artists and transitioned the company to a music label.
